Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix had an early aptitude for sports when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting potential at the moment. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks, after her first attempt. Felix finished high school and subsequently signed a pro-contract to Adidas. In the year 2004, she was enrolled at an institution called the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record in the 200-meter race with a time of 22.18. She became the youngest world winner in the 200m in the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She always finished at the top of the podium in all events.
